We conduct a thorough internal and external Building Inspection of the property looking for major structural defects. Maintenance and general advice items are also included (an extensive but not an exhaustive list). All house inspections are carried out in accordance with Australian Building Standards AS4349.1. We have developed a comprehensive on site checklist and process to be followed for all house inspections.

We listen to any concerns you may have about the property you are about to purchase and address these at the inspection. General advice is also given in relation to any renovation and / or extension queries you have. Cost estimates for repairs, renovations and extensions can be provided on request at no extra charge.

When can you carry out the inspection?
We generally require 24 hours notice to organise a house inspection. Same day inspections can sometimes be organised.

When do I get my Report?
You will receive your full written Report via email by the next business day following the Building Inspection. If you have an URGENT situation we can give you a verbal report on the day and organise to have the Report emailed to you the same evening.

Can I attend the inspection?
You are very welcome to attend the inspection and speak directly with the Inspector. If you are not able to attend, that is fine too (most people don’t), the Inspector is available to speak with you before the inspection or after the inspection if you have any queries on the report.
